A humanitarian passionate about the development of youths and Ife-Ijesa senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi popularly known as Ijoba Federal has charged the newly inaugurated Executive Members of the Federation of Ijesa Students’ Union (FISU), National Headquarters, to embrace leadership rooted in humility, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of Ijesa students across Nigeria.‎‎

Addressing the executives and other youth leaders during the inauguration ceremony held at Ilesa Social Elite Club, Chief Olaniyi emphasised that leadership is a responsibility demanding courage, sincerity, and a clear focus on delivering meaningful results. ‎‎

He encouraged them to view their roles not as positions of privilege, but as opportunities to serve, inspire, and uplift the union.‎‎

Describing Ijesaland as a region richly blessed with intellectuals, innovators, and talented youths, Chief Olaniyi who is the patron of a group, The Friends of Seyi Tinubu Humanitarian Foundation, FOST, Osun State chapter noted that when properly supported and united, Ijesa students can contribute significantly to community growth both locally and nationally.

‎‎He urged the executive members to foster cooperation, discipline, and purposeful engagement within the student body.

‎‎He also called on the new leadership to initiate programmes that strengthen academic excellence, promote active student participation, and support the overall development of young people across all tertiary institutions attended by Ijesa students.

‎‎Reaffirming his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, the Ipetu-Ijesa-born philanthropist pledged continued support for initiatives that improve the lives of young people, particularly in education and leadership development.‎‎
