Osun APC governorship aspirant, Engineer Dideolu Falobi, has unveiled his vision for a prosperous and forward-looking Osun State, promising to deliver a model of good governance if given the opportunity to fly the party’s flag and win the 2026 governorship election.
Speaking on Wednesday during a Yoruba current affairs program on Hope FM, Ilesa, the Bobajiro of Ilesa said Osun must seize the moment to rebuild and reposition itself for growth, stressing that his administration would be one that harnesses the state’s resources and potential to create prosperity for all citizens.
The Iwoye-Ijesa born politician and technocrat outlined key areas of focus, including reviving the education sector and skills training to prepare young people for the future, expanding opportunities for businesses and industries to thrive, and transforming agriculture into a profitable venture that sustains livelihoods and strengthens the economy.
Falobi noted that recent federal initiatives under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, including increased allocations to states and local governments, provide an important opportunity to drive development that directly benefits citizens at the grassroots.
While expressing confidence in the APC’s internal democracy, Falobi said the number of aspirants seeking the party’s ticket was proof of a vibrant and competitive structure, assuring party members and citizens that if given the chance, he would deliver a government they can be proud of.
He urged Osun residents to remain focused on the bigger goal of a prosperous state.
