Engineer Dideolu Falobi, an All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship hopeful, says his decision to seek the Osun governorship seat is driven by a desire to expand his impact on society through active political participation.
Speaking on a Yoruba current affairs program on Uniq FM, Ilesa, Falobi who also holds the traditional title of Bobajiro of Ilesa explained that although he had contributed to community development through personal efforts, he later realized that broader and lasting change could only be achieved within the political space.

According to him, politics provides the platform to influence policies and drive development on a larger scale.

Unveiling his vision for Osun State, the world-class charter engineer highlighted industrialization as the engine of economic growth, with agriculture serving as the foundation of his administration if elected.
Falobi who is the Managing Director of Kresta Laurel Limited, a company specializing in vertical and horizontal transportation systems pledged deliberate reforms in the education sector, investment in vocational training, and holistic empowerment programs for citizens, all anchored on peace, security, and good governance.
On national matters, the APC Governorship hopeful appealed for patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, stressing that the reforms already set in motion will soon translate into tangible benefits across the country.
He further encouraged Nigerians to embrace farming as a pathway to food security and self-reliance.
Falobi also expressed delight that Osun currently leads the nation in voter pre-registration, with an impressive 393,269 registrants representing the largest share at 28.51 percent.
He described the development as a clear sign of growing political awareness among the people and urged eligible citizens to take advantage of the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
According to him, democracy can only thrive when citizens actively participate in shaping their future.
