Concerned citizens in Ijesaland have described as unfair and unjust the victimization of Pastor (Mrs) Sayo Adedigba, Owner of Next Level Petroleum and Delas Place, over a land dispute involving the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School in Ilesa.
The group, through its coordinator, Dr. Aiku Oshungbure in a statement, said the attacks on Mrs. Adedigba appear to be deliberate and targeted, insisting that she is being unjustly singled out in a situation where other prominent indigenes also own land in the same area.
They expressed concern that such public condemnation and attack, without verified evidence, is damaging to the image of someone who has consistently contributed to the economic development of Ijesaland.
While highlighting her years of active contributions to the community, ranging from employment creation through her businesses to her support for social and religious initiatives, they said terming her as a land grabber is totally wrong.
According to Dr Oshungbure, the new Owa, Clement Adesuyi Hastrup Ajimoko III, has just built a new house on the said land, just as other prominent Ijesas such as Hon. Ibukun Fadipe (IBK), Barrister Boye Williams, Hon. Wale Adedoyin, Apoeso Diganga, as well as Osun New Town, amongst others, acquired land on the said property.
They wondered the deliberate action by some notable individuals in Ijesaland to frustrate the new developmental ideas of Mrs. Adedigba, which is still in embryo.
The group urged the public and those involved in the dispute to allow due process and avoid vendetta.

The controversy centers around a parcel of land reportedly in contention between Pastor Adedigba and the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School, with some residents of Ilesa calling on stakeholders to resolve the matter amicably among all parties involved
