During the meeting, party members expressed their disappointment over Hon. Omirin’s departure but resolved to remain focused and committed to the PDP’s progress.
Key resolutions reached at the gathering include, the appointment of Hon. Emiola Fakeye Oriowo, Special Adviser to the Governor, as the new overall leader of the party in Atakunmosa East, a call for all party members across the local government to reaffirm their membership as a mark of renewed commitment, stern warning against fraternizing with defectors, describing such acts as gross anti-party behaviour, declaration of unwavering loyalty to the leadership of the PDP State Chairman, Hon.
