The Chief Imam of Offaland, Sheikh Muyideen Salman, has commended Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, describing him as a compassionate and selfless leader who prioritizes the welfare of his people.
The cleric gave the accolade while delivering a lecture during a Ramadan and Iftar program organized by the Vice Chairman of Ilesa East Local Government, Honourable Ibrahim Popoola Alaba (popularly known as Alabama), in Ilesa, Osun State.

Delivering a public lecture themed “Tani Asaju Rere?” — “Who is a Good Leader?” Sheikh Salman emphasized that true leadership must be rooted in the fear of God, compassion, and unwavering dedication to public welfare.
“I’m not being political, but Governor Adeleke remains a good leader. That’s why people organize these kind of programs on his behalf — because he treats them with dignity,” Sheikh Salman stated.
The Cleric who highlighted several infrastructural projects completed and ongoing across Osun State, noted that the governor understands the importance of including Ijesaland in his developmental agenda saying the governor knows that if he neglects Ijesaland, his government will lose credibility among the people
“Governor Adeleke knows that people from this area (Ijesaland) are in his government if he does not satisfy the yearning of the people through different projects he’s embarking upon here, they won’t have merit at home ”
Sheikh Salman who praised the Ilesa East Local Government Vice Chairman Honourable Alaba Popoola for choosing such a thoughtful and reflective theme for the gathering, stated that a bad leader would never have considered such a topic for public discourse.

Also speaking at the event, the Grand Imam of Ijesaland, Sheikh Muhammad Jamiu Idris, commended Honourable Alaba POPOOLA for his continuous support of the Muslim community and his dedication to improving the lives of the people around him .
