The Osun State Government has clarified that the recently unveiled N159 billion infrastructure plan by Governor Ademola Adeleke includes several additional projects not mentioned during his speech.

Mallam Olawale Rasheed the Governor’s spokesperson in a statement on Sunday explained that while the Governor highlighted major projects totaling over N111 billion, smaller but essential projects, amounting to about N48 billion, were grouped under a “general infrastructure” category.

“These projects according to him include bridges, neighborhood roads, ongoing water sector interventions, and health sector improvements beyond primary healthcare centers,”.

He emphasized that the decision to omit these projects during the Governor’s announcement was to save time, focusing only on key highlights.

He assured the public that there was no miscalculation or budget manipulation, and a detailed breakdown of the infrastructure plan is available at the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure for anyone interested.

“The full breakdown is accessible at the state secretariat,” Rasheed added.
