The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has awarded Governor Ademola Adeleke and eight other state governors an excellent rating in its latest Reputation Performance Index on Nigerian Political Governance 2024.
Governor Adeleke achieved an impressive score of 83.6%, placing him among the top nine governors for outstanding leadership and governance.
The NIPR, a prestigious body known for promoting excellence in public relations and reputation management, based its ratings on a comprehensive evaluation of governors’ performance in sectors such as infrastructure, economic growth, education, healthcare, and social welfare.
The Index utilizes a mix of quantitative and qualitative data, including surveys, interviews, and public information analysis.
Governor Adeleke’s high rating reflects his significant efforts in transforming the state through initiatives in infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, and youth development.
In response to the recognition, Governor Adeleke expressed his commitment to further enhancing governance and achieving even higher performance standards.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke acknowledged the accolade as both an honor and a motivation to improve further.
“We thank the NIPR for its professionalism and nonpartisan review. We will strive to achieve a 100 percent rating and will review our governance delivery system to address any areas needing improvement,” he said.
Governor Adeleke also expressed eagerness to engage with NIPR leadership regarding the 2024 report.
