As Muslim faithful across the country commence the holy month of Ramadan, the Member representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has extended warm greetings and prayers to the Ummah, urging them to embrace the virtues of the season.

In a Ramadan message issued today, the lawmaker described the sacred month as a period of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, self-discipline and compassion.

He noted that Ramadan offers an opportunity for believers to reaffirm their devotion to Almighty Allah and recommit themselves to righteous living.

Hon. Oke reminded Muslims that the essence of Ramadan lies in patience, humility, sacrifice, charity and sincere obedience to the teachings of Islam.

He encouraged the faithful to observe fasting with purity of heart, show kindness to neighbours, support the needy, and strengthen communal unity.

The Veteran Lawmaker expressed hope that the holy month would inspire greater commitment to peace, justice, love and service to humanity, not only during the fasting period but as a guiding principle in daily life.

The federal lawmaker prayed that Allah would accept the fasting, prayers and charitable deeds of the faithful, granting them forgiveness, mercy and abundant blessings.

He also urged residents to use the season to pray for peace, progress and prosperity in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Osun State and Nigeria at large.
