The House of Representatives Member from Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwole Oke has joined well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating the 87th birthday of Pa Bisi Akande, former Governor of Osun State and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, Hon. Oke described Pa Akande as “a visionary leader, a statesman of integrity, and a lasting inspiration to generations of Nigerians.”
He praised the former governor for his exceptional dedication to governance, democracy, and the development of Osun State, noting that his exemplary career continues to set the standard for leadership in the country.
Hon. Oke who is the Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs emphasized that Pa Akande’s life is a model of dedication, wisdom, and selfless service, highlighting that his contributions have positively impacted not only Osun State but also the Nigerian nation at large.
The lawmaker described the former governor’s milestone birthday as an opportunity to reflect on a life devoted to service, mentorship, and the betterment of society.
