As the 2026/2027 governorship and general elections are fast approaching in Osun State, Politicians are gathering their momentum to canvass for people’s supports as usual, those that have neglected their people are now friendly since elections are near.
According to 2006 population census, the people of Ilesa East Local Government were more than 100,000 and with an annual increase of almost 7,000 per year, the population of the local government is estimated to a projection of more than 200,000 (thereby, making Ilesa East Local Government one of the most populous local governments in Osun State) as of today with women and youths as the majority.
With the aforementioned projected number of people, Ilesa East State Constituency deserve a youthful energy at the Osun State House of Assembly. We deserve a Lawmaker who truly understands lawmaking, representation and oversight function as his constitutional roles. The people of Ilesa East Local Government are due for a quality representation at the floor of the house.

The scorecard of the 8th Osun State House of Assembly is a pointal to the call for a visionary Ijesa Youth like Hon. Bepo to represent Ilesa East State Constituency come 2027. It shouldn’t be a business as usual for the sake of the masses, it’s time to change the narrative, it’s time to have an Honourable member who is audible enough at the hallowed chamber of Osun State House of Assembly to defend the interests of his people.
