In a bold and inspiring move, Hon. Wale Adedoyin popularly known as Eyiyato has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Member, House of Representatives, representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Adedoyin made the declaration on Monday at a meeting with the APC leadership of Ijesa South Federal Constituency, led by Elder Kunle Odeyemi, Hon. Kujembola, the Treasurer of the party at the state level, and the immediate past speaker of Osun,Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye.
Hon Adedoyin who emphasized his unwavering commitment to the service of his people and the development of the constituency, called on all party members, to work hard towards the victory of the party’s governorship candidate in the 2026 Guber poll, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji.
He expressed confidence at the victory of APC in 2026, and 2027, saying what is keen is unity of purpose among party members.
Reacting, Elder Kunle Odeyemi congratulated Hon. Wale Adedoyin on his bold decision , and expressed confidence that his ambition would receive divine support.
On his part, former Speaker of the state, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, described Hon. Adedoyin as a committed, and dedicated party man, whose character and contributions to the party at all times are noteworthy.
The leadership of the APC in Ijesa South Federal Constituency, welcomed Hon. Wale Adedoyin EYIYATO’s declaration, and expressed optimism on the development.
Hon Wale Adedoyin is a grassroots politician and a dedicated advocate for inclusive governance, and he is no stranger to the needs and aspirations of the people of Ijesa South Federal constituency, having served as a state lawmaker, and a one time commissioner in the state.
