The Member representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of renowned engineer, Engr. Tunde Ponle, describing his passing as a painful loss to his family, community, and Osun State as a whole.
In a condolence message issued by the Public and Media Communication Unit of the veteran lawmaker on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Hon. Oke, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, said the late Engr. Ponle was a distinguished professional whose life was defined by dedication, integrity, and selfless service to humanity.
According to the lawmaker, Engr. Ponle’s contributions to societal development and his unwavering commitment to excellence in his profession earned him respect and admiration, noting that his positive impact will be long remembered.
Hon. Oke extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Ponle family, including Chief Mrs. Titi Laoye-Ponle, as well as friends and associates of the deceased, urging them to draw comfort from the worthy and impactful life he lived.
He also prayed that Almighty God grants the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss and grants the departed soul eternal rest.
