

The Lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has extended warm felicitations to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on the celebration of his 51st birthday, describing the revered monarch as “a royal symbol of unity, culture, and global diplomacy.”
In a goodwill message personally signed and made available to journalists on Friday, Hon. Oke, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs commended the Ooni for his visionary leadership, cultural advocacy, and unrelenting commitment to promoting peace, harmony, and national cohesion among the Yoruba people and across Nigeria.

“Kabiyesi has distinguished himself as a bridge between the ancient and the modern—an inspiring monarch whose influence extends far beyond the palace walls to the global stage,” Hon. Oke stated.
He further described Oba Ogunwusi as a shining example of purposeful royalty and a strong advocate of cultural diplomacy, youth empowerment, and inter-ethnic harmony.
The lawmaker also praised the Ooni’s consistent efforts in empowering young Nigerians, fostering unity, and projecting Yoruba heritage as a vital pillar of Nigeria’s soft power and international image.
While praying for the Ooni’s continued reign in peace, wisdom, and prosperity, Hon. Oke noted that Oba Ogunwusi’s leadership has restored dignity to the House of Odùduwà and strengthened the bond of the global African family.
