According to him, the Nigeria Group of Fulani (NGF) is worried about the wave of senseless attacks, and killings of farmers, herders, and residents, in some areas in the country, particularly in Kwara state , where Fulani people were killed by suspected bandits.

While explaining that Fulani is one of the indigenous tribes in the country, Alfa Nuhu argued that tagging Fulani, particularly herders, as the masterminds of several criminal attacks, killings and destruction in the country , amounted to ethnic profiling designed to paint them as aggressors.

He urged Nigerians, the media , bloggers, security operatives, and government to address the issue, saying the Fulani is a tribe like Yoruba, Igbo, Ibibio, Tiv, Hausa, amongst others, and the fact that certain elements in a particular tribe are responsible for a criminal acts, does not make the entire tribe criminals.

While acknowledging that Fulani communities have also suffered losses, including killings and widespread cattle rustling, in the hands of unknown gunmen, tagged bandits, the Ejigbo based businessman ,said tha the Nigeria Group of Fulani, and its leadership across the country, particularly in the Yorubaland, are ready to work with the government, and other stakeholders, to fight the suspected bandits, who have been killing innocent people, including women and children.
