Lasisi Olufemi Oluyide emerges as a truly uncommon figure of gratitude,an Omoluabi,in a world where entitlement and ingratitude often prevail His heartfelt testimony shines a bright light on the extraordinary generosity of Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, whose benevolence transformed Lasisi’s life from despair to renewed hope and opportunity.

This is coming at a time when a few disgruntled individuals have been induced to tarnish the image of Hon. Wole Oke with mere momentary financial inducements, thinking that will reduce his political image or discredit his personality.

Unlike many who might take kindness for granted or seek to tarnish the image of their benefactors, Lasisi openly acknowledges and celebrates the profound impact of Hon. Wole Oke’s support, providing not only employment but also accommodation, feeding, financial aid, and essential tools for career growth such as a laptop and phone.

Remarkably, Hon. Wole Oke even paid Lasisi’s salary from his own resources during a difficult transition, demonstrating a boundless spirit of giving that goes far beyond ordinary charity.

This expression of gratitude is particularly significant amid recent controversies where some disgruntled individuals have attempted to tarnish Hon. Wole Oke’s image with claims of political victimisation and coercion within his private establishment. For example, Ms Adeyeye Adenike from Ipetu-Ile, who could not show appropriate efficiency, accused Hon. Wole Oke of forcing staff to recruit family members into the APC or face dismissal, while Olaifa Kayode publicly apologised for being used to portray Hon. Wole Oke negatively.

In the same society where entitlement mindsets often overshadow genuine appreciation, Lasisi’s gratitude stands out as a rare and inspiring example.

His story is a powerful reminder that true greatness lies in recognising and honouring those who lift others up, even when faced with detractors who seek to stain such noble images.

Lasisi’s unwavering thankfulness and public acknowledgement of Hon. Wole Oke’s kindness not only restore hope but also set a standard for integrity and humility in the face of adversity.

This celebration of uncommon gratitude amidst a sea of ingratitude is a beacon of hope and a call to all to value and cherish genuine acts of kindness and support

. Also, Awodiran Abiola Oluwaseun lent his credence too: “I work at LBIS Abuja. Honourable Oluwole Oke is a commendable leader with an open heart.”

I apologise sincerely to Hon. Wole Oke and to correct an erroneous claim by a lady who believes she can blackmail our boss. Hon. Oke does not interfere in school matters.

He often says, “Seni han bani wase e soni bani se,” emphasising humility, proficiency, and integrity.

Wole Oke.

In contrast, Lasisi’s public acknowledgement, shared through his WhatsApp chat to the Public and Media Communication Unit of Hon. Wole Oke’s Constituency Office, serves as a powerful counter-narrative emphasising integrity, humility, and genuine appreciation.

Gratefulness, they say, is next to godliness; Lasisi Olufemi Oluyide stands out as a rare figure of genuine gratitude in a society often marked by entitlement and ingratitude. The ethos of Omoluabi should rule our affairs wherever we find ourselves. Lasisi and Awodiran are rare breeds.

Find below the excerpts…I worked with Lead British International School, Ibadan, for good four years before joining the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission. My experience during these years was awesome. LBIS developed me, and I will always be thankful.

Wole Oke employed many youths from his constituency, giving many opportunities for a meaningful life. Many of those working in his private company were given federal government jobs aided by Hon. Wole Oke.

I could remember when I was rotting on the street even as a graduate with no help from anywhere. God used Hon. Wole Oke to pick me out of that condition, gave me a job with a salary beyond my expectations, restored my hope and reshaped my life.

I was given free accommodation, feeding inclusive, and occasional financial assistance directly from him.

When I resumed duty, I was expected to come with my laptop and other teaching gadgets, but I did not have a good phone, let alone a laptop. I called Hon. Wole Oke; he sent me money to get an Android phone and a laptop. Even during this period, I was not into politics at all. He aided the growth of my career as a teacher. His generosity has no boundaries when it comes to giving.

When I resigned from LBIS, Hon. Wole Oke was, from his own purse, paying my salary for months knowing that the state would not pay new employees for the first three months. Words would not be enough to appreciate the generosity of the distinguished Honourable Busayo Oluwole Oke.

How good and pleasant will it be for me to keep appreciating the Honourable?

God bless Hon. Wole Oke even in all his aspirations in life.
