The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has called on the people of the state and the Christian community to continue praying for his administration and to maintain the peace that Osun is known for.
Governor Adeleke made the appeal during the Easter Thanksgiving Service held at All Souls Anglican Church, Okefia, Osogbo, the state capital.
The governor who expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to witness another Easter celebration highlighted the efforts of his administration in fulfilling campaign promises.
He said despite years of opposition and numerous abandoned projects, his government has successfully completed many of them.
According to him, light has now shone in Osun State, and darkness will not prevail over it.
Quoting from the book of Mark, Governor Adeleke urged Christians to have unwavering faith, assuring them that their prayers will be answered.
He also used the occasion to emphasize ongoing developmental projects across the state, including improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to transparent and inclusive governance.
