Dr. Alfred Oyebode Olawole Ajayi Installed as High Chief Elemo of Igbara-Oke Kingdom

The town of Igbara-Oke in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State was filled with celebration as Dr. Alfred Oyebode Olawole Ajayi was officially installed as the High Chief Elemo of Igbara-Oke Kingdom.

The ceremony, held at the Palace of His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede (OFR), the Olowa of Igbara-Oke, attracted a large crowd of dignitaries, family, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the historic event.

Oba Agbede, the 13th Olowa of Igbara-Oke, commended Chief Ajayi for his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the kingdom.

He praised the new High Chief for his significant contributions to the community, noting that his leadership will play a vital role in preserving the kingdom’s cultural heritage and traditions.

The Olowa further emphasized the importance of the role of traditional titles in fostering unity and progress within the community.

High Chief Ajayi, in his acceptance speech, expressed deep gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him.

He reaffirmed his dedication to the well-being of Igbara-Oke and promised to continue working towards the kingdom’s advancement.

High Chief Ajayi who acknowledged the support he has received from the community, particularly from Olori Yetunde Agbede, the Eye Sorun of Igbara-Oke thanked her for her prayers and encouragement.

The installation of Chief Ajayi highlights the ongoing transformation of Igbara-Oke under Oba Agbede’s leadership.

The kingdom has experienced significant progress in recent years, with key initiatives in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
