The Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, OdunDun II, is set to officially install Chief (Mrs.) Zenaib S. Olawumi Olabode as the Iyalode of Akure Kingdom
According to a statement issued by Chief (Mrs.) Zenaib S. Olawumi Olabode, the ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Ojukoto’s Court, Deji’s Palace, Akure, starting at 10:00 AM.
Chief Olabode, a distinguished UK-based philanthropist and businesswoman, is widely recognized for her contributions to community development, women empowerment, and humanitarian efforts both in Nigeria and the diaspora.
Her new title, Iyalode, is traditionally reserved for a woman of great influence, leadership, and service to society.
The prestigious installation ceremony will bring together dignitaries, traditional rulers, business elites, and well-wishers from all walks of life.
Following the official rites at the palace, a reception will be held at Sunbeth Hotel Hall, Sijuwade, Akure, where guests will celebrate this milestone.
